This Privacy Policy explains how GlazeLogic ("we", "us" or "our") collects and uses personal data when you use our website (glazelogic.io), our application (glazelogic.app), and related services (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, business/company name, username, email address and the products and branding you configure.
• Billing information — your plan status and history. No payment details are needed for the free plan. If you upgrade, card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive limited details (such as the card type and last four digits) but we do not collect or store your full card number.
• Enquiry data — when a member of the public uses your configurator, they submit their design choices and contact details. This is collected by us on your behalf and made available to you as a lead.
• Usage and technical data — basic information such as log data, device/browser type and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information and our legal bases

• To provide and operate the Service, including your configurator and dashboard — to perform our contract with you.
• To take payment and manage your subscription — to perform our contract and meet our legal obligations.
• To send service emails (for example, welcome, plan and payment notices) — our legitimate interests and contract performance.
• To provide support, improve and secure the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse — our legitimate interests.
• To comply with the law and enforce our terms — our legal obligations and legitimate interests.

3. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed. These include:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Our hosting and email providers — to host the Service and send service emails.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and to keep the Service secure (for example, a session cookie). These are necessary for the Service to function, so no cookie banner is required. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and for up to 6 years after your account closes, to meet legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. Enquiry (lead) data is retained while your account is active so you can access your leads, and is deleted on request where appropriate.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including secure handling of payments via Stripe and restricting access to data. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email support@glazelogic.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised, and we will tell you about material changes where appropriate.
